UNILAG Business School’s Islamic banking and finance program to begin issuing post-graduate degrees
The University of Lagos’ Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, announced that the university’s Senate has authorized the UNILAG Business School’s Islamic banking and finance program to begin issuing post-graduate degrees.
This was stated at the last 5th National Discourse of the Companion held at University of Lagos by The Companion.
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele, His Highness Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and Co-founder of GTBank, Mr. Fola Adeola, the guest speaker, Prof. AbdurRazzaq Abdul Majeed Alaro of University of Ilorin spoke on the theme: Islamic Finance Experiment in Nigeria: Gains, Challenges and Prospects and other eminent personalities to the fifth National Discourse organised by The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions).
