Membership Qualification

Membership of The Companion is open to only practicing, enlightened and serious-minded male Muslim professionals whose commitment to the progress of Islam is in all respects, total and exemplary, and who possess a minimum basic qualification of National Certificate of Education or its equivalent.

All members must be literate in the reading of the Qur’an.

Classification of Membership

Membership of The Companion is in four (4) main grades

Grade 1

Fellow of The Companion (FTC)

Grade 2

Full Member of The Companion (MTC)

Grade 3

Associate Member of The Companion (AMTC)

Grade 4

Qualifications for Leadership

The leadership position is open to only active members. An active member is defined as one who has achieved 70% attendance at all activities of The Companion during the preceding 12 month

Rights and Priviledges

(a)To introduce himself and be given due recognition as a member.
(b)To generally have unhindered and full participation in all programmes of The Companion;
(c)To aspire to any leadership position in The Companion.
(d)To obtain the membership packages, including the profile of The Companion;
(e)To host The Companion programmes as may be scheduled from time to time by the Executive Council.
To enjoy any other benefits that may accrue from time to time.
