Overview of The National Discourse 2019
Sunday, July 14, 2019, remains a historic event with many citizens of Federal Republic of Nigeria in attendance at Ade-Ajayi (Main Auditorium Hall) of the University of Lagos, the auditorium filled to its capacity and led by Vice-President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (GCFR, SAN) alongside the University’s Vice-Chancellor , Deputy Governor of Ogun State leading a procession of Muslim and non-Muslim VIPs in attending a National Discourse 2019.
With the theme Food Security: Unleashing Nigeria’s Natural Potential For Self Sufficiency. The occasion’s chairman was immediate past State of Osun Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Keynote Speaker was delivered by the Vice- President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (GCFR, SAN), President, Nigerian Academy of Engineering and pioneer Vice-Chancellor, University of Uyo, Professor Fola Lasisi, was the Guest Speaker with the Chairman, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter), Otunba Femi Oke, and a professor of Food Science and Technology, Lateef Sanni, Deputy VC FUNNAB as another discussants.
