The Dawn is the vibrant youth wing of The Companion, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions. Established to nurture the next generation of Muslim leaders, The Dawn provides a platform for young Muslims to develop essential skills, deepen their faith, and actively contribute to community development. Through structured programmes, mentorship, and strategic engagement, we empower youth to become confident, capable, and compassionate leaders who will shape the future of the Ummah and Nigeria at large.
To empower Muslim youth with leadership skills, Islamic values, and entrepreneurial competencies, enabling them to become self-reliant, responsible, and impactful members of society.
The Dawah Holiday Programme (DHP) is the flagship initiative of The Dawn. It is an annual 10-day camping programme designed to equip Muslim youths with a unique blend of soft and hard skills essential for personal and professional success. Held on a rotational basis across different states in Nigeria, DHP brings together young Muslims from diverse backgrounds for an immersive experience of learning, growth, and community service.
The programme is carefully structured to address the holistic development of participants, covering:
